Ligurian Palombino stone –collected in Italy by Andrea Schenone. Stone was shown in Visions of the American West International bonsai and stone exhibition in Denver in 2012. Stone has good patina and measures 28 x 17 x 7 cm. $550.
(On Reserve) – Sajigawa stone- resembles a long, very far away mountain. Excellent daiza was carved by Sean Smith. 22 x 5 x 4 cm. $125.
Sajigawa stone with an excellent Koji Suzuki daiza, very expressive mountain stone with a natural bottom. 14 x 12 x 8 cm. $400.
(On Reserve) Tamagawa stone, with excellent rosewood daiza carved by Koji Suzuki, This little stone has excellent patina and measures 8 x 6 x 4 cm. $225.
(On Reserve) Seigaku mountain stone with 3 peaks. This small stone is really expressive and would show well with bonsai. It comes with a kiri-bako and measures 10 x 6 x 5 cm. $100.
(On Reserve) Snowy Range (1), Wyoming mountain stone, with a natural bottom, daiza carved from purple heart. Measures 18 x 14 x 8 cm $200.
Snowy Range (2), Wyoming mountain stone, with natural bottom, daiza carved from black walnut. Measures 20 x 16 x 10 cm. $190.
(On Reserve) Doha from the Kamogawa River in Japan. This stone was purchased in Kyoto. It has been outdoors for a very long time and has a nice patina. 24 x 7x 5 cm. $500.
A superb Saba Chrysanthemum stone of museum quality. It was from the collection of Mr. Kasahara who passed away last year. A very large flower in the front that has eventually fallen out due to extreme temperatures. In addition a smaller missing flower in the back of the stone. The daiza has some sun damage on the front as it is much darker in the back. It is assumed this was in Mr. Kasahara’s home for a very long time or a previous owner. Saba stones are becoming quite rare. 15 x 7 x 12 cm. $1900
(On Reserve) A Ligurian waterfall stone. The waterfall starts below the top of the stone which is highly desired. 13 x 6 x 12 cm. $350 (Note, the stone is a tad lighter in color than the photo.)
A Ligurian mountain range. No daiza but can be used in a suiban or doban. 12.5 x 5 x 5 cm. $250
